Driving back from Sweden to Jutland, in Denmark, heading south for Germany we cross the sweeping, graceful bridges that span many kilometres and link Sweden with Copenhagen and then with the island of Odense. We have clear blue skies and on our left are 60 wind turbines, standing deep in the blue sea.

We are staying in a youth hostel and in the TV room there is a pool table. The glass covering where the balls are kept is broken so we can have heaps of free games.
